A new 11,000-square-foot administration building on Williams Avenue is needed because the existing office can't handle the company's expanding array of social services, The Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe stated.
The site on Williams Avenue was picked because of its central, easy-to-find location and the availability of city utilities.
Along with working with various federal agencies to get grant funding for the construction, the company is developing plans to build a wellness center.
The new building's final design will cost about $1.5 million, according to the preliminary estimates.
