Multiple construction plans were announced at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
A new phase in the implementation of a large-scale construction program in Turkmenistan was announced by President Saparmurat Niyazov.
The program is to be implemented in the capital and surrounding areas.
Saparmurat Niyazov also approved a general plan for Ashgabat's Arcabil district development until 2030.
A design for a new building of the military institute to prepare officers for the Ministry of National Security and the State Border Service, the construction of a marble and granite processing plant in Ashgabat area were approved among other projects to be implemented in the coming couple of years.
